Opened in 2010 in Falls Church, VA. Pizzeria Orso is family-friendly authentic Neapolitan Pizzeria that also showcases an assortment of globally-inspired small plates. Pizzeria Orso features an enormous custom-made volcanic brick oven handcrafted by Forno Napoletano for the restaurant, in Italy. True to traditional Neapolitan technique, the pizza dough – which uses a sour starter - at Pizzeria Orso is naturally leavened, never refrigerated, and baked in the wood-burning oven at approximately 800°F for 90 seconds. Pizzeria Orso was named as one of the top 50 Best Restaurants by Northern Virginia magazine and was also recently awarded Best Italian Restaurant by Northern Virginia Magazine.

Flavorful, authentic Italian fare in a huge, family-friendly spot. One of just a handful of USA pizzerias to have earned international accreditation for the authenticity of their ingredients and preparation methods, Orzo is dependably delicious. Their prices are higher than normal, but worth the quality. With extensive patio seating and plenty of large tables indoors, Orzo is very popular with families. This can makes it a little less romantic but a great place to meet up with friends.

one of my absolutely favorite restaurants. the menu changes seasonally to provide the freshest and most innovative plates. every bite is a religious experience. vegetables you want to eat! the staff are friendly and welcoming. the prices are reasonable enough to get appetizers and dessert... and you should definitely indulge!

I've had the goat cheese salad 3x now and it's delicious and consistent. Tonight I had the butternut squash ravioli and it was WONDERFUL! I will definitely look for that again!
